This presentation will tell the story about how AndyMark,Inc. was started and how it has grown over a short, 5 year history. Andy Baker will describe various lessons learned as the company has dealt with government agencies, banks, vendors and customers. This presentation will be directed at people who have a technical idea and wish to create and grow a small company into a business that will employ people. Andy will describe what AndyMark does to continue to stay agile and responsive to customer needs in this ever-changing economy. More emphasis will be spent on the business development side of the operation while technical issues will be covered as they have impacted the business. Attendees will get plenty of stories from Andy, and hopefully some good lessons on what to do and not to do when starting their own business.
